The Uprising at Swearing Creek
The 2008 North Carolina State Championship will be held Oct. 30th - Nov. 2nd at the Rowan County Wildlife Association in Salisbury. The match will be shot in two shifts, with one group of posses shooting in the morning and one in the afternoon. Then switching for the second day of shooting. With two shifts of shooting the capacity for the main match shooting days will be 225 shooters. Last year's match was a big success as was the banquet so get you applications in early.
Shoot throughs must have permission from the match director prior to sending in their applications. We regret that we feel the need to do this, but there have been several complaints about the number of shoot throughs in recent years. We want everyone to have fun and not feel put out in anyway. So, please if you do not have to shoot through go ahead and register and shoot on a posse.
